Insurance

With the sharp increase of insurance premiums in 2003, the CSCA are unable to include insurance as part of their membership package.

It is strongly recommended that CSCA members obtain their own insurance cover with various insurance companies. If you are a member of another caving club you may be able to obtain insurance through them or you join the BCA. The CSCA applologies to its members for not being able to provide insurance cover.

Access

There are a few caves in the Derbyshire area where the landowner will only allow access if the Caver can prove that he/she is covered by a Third Party Liability Insurance.  It is possible that this situation could spread to other regions so it is recommended that CSCA members obtain insurance.
